Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Nova Juniper Foods Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
