Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Minneapolis, MN)

Stonegate Keystone Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Minneapolis. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
