Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Memphis, TN)

Summit Rowan Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Memphis region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
