Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Quill Facilities Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 818 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with supply orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
