Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Timber Auto Group is a Knoxville company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates.
