Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Logistics grows and distributes produce from farms near Kansas City, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 501 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
