Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Kansas City, MO)

Amberfield Hollow Freight is a Kansas City logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We reward reliability. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
