Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Kansas City, MO)

Nova Umber Foods Partners is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
