Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Jacksonville, FL)

Nova Orchard Farms Group supplies farm and food customers across the Jacksonville region. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 855 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage.
