Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Jacksonville, FL)

Westbrook Wren Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
