Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Bright Juniper Inspection Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
