Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Energy is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 482 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
