Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
