Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Amber Auto Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Track performance measures for warranty claims and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders.
