Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Wren Environmental Services Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes.
