Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Wren Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
