Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Detroit, MI)

Summit Fox Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
