Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Cleveland, OH)

Harborlight Birch Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
