Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Cleveland, OH)

Fernwood Lakeside Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Cleveland, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
