Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Freight and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 241 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
