Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Boston, MA)

Redstone Kestrel Manufacturing makes precision components in Boston, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
