Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Boise, ID)

Stonegate Glen Foods Partners produces packaged foods at its Boise plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a large organisation of about 954 people based in Boise. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
