Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Boise, ID)

Summit Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Boise. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in Boise. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
