Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Baltimore, MD)

Harborlight Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Baltimore plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. You would join a small organisation of about 132 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
