Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Austin, TX)

Northwind Drift Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Austin. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on scheduling and capacity. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
