Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Hollow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Austin with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our scheduling and capacity. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
