Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Anchorage, AK)

Nova Fern Freight Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
