Senior Operations Manager - scheduling and capacity (Albuquerque, NM)

Harborlight Corner Water Authority is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on scheduling and capacity for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
