Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Facilities and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
