Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood River Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 106 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
