Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Seattle, WA)

Bright Field Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
