Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Bright Drift Foods and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
