Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Seattle, WA)

Northwind Orchard Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
