Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Stone Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around San Antonio. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
