Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Northwind Vista Manufacturing and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
