Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Rochester, NY)

Highbridge Meridian Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules.
