Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Rochester, NY)

Westbrook Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Rochester working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
