Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood West Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Tucson region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
