Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Clear Freight is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
