Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood Fern Foods Group is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
