Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit River Water Authority and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
