Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Highbridge Quarry Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Philadelphia region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
