Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Rivermark Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around New Orleans, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
