Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Fernwood Sparrow Facilities is a facilities company in Chicago with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
