Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit Pine Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
