Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Hollow Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
