Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Westbrook Cedar Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Memphis, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
