Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Fox Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
