Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
