Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Rivermark Orchard Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Fort Worth. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
